Please arrive an hour early for registration and jersey assignment. Make up tryout - U18 players who are unable to make the May 30th date will be able to tryout at the U16 tryout date June 27, 2009.

Players who will not be able to make the U18 tryout date must pre-register.

This tryout date is the only make-up date for U16 players who can not make their June 27th tryout date.

Players who are interested in trying out but cannot make their tryout dates can tryout as follows:

•  You must pre-register at Cyclone Tryout Pre-registration Form (you will still register for the team you are trying out for not the date you are trying out)

• A Pee Wee can tryout with the Bantam June 13, 2009 4:30pm @ Plex Ice Irmo, SC

•  U18 can tryout with the Midgets Midget 16U June 27, 2009 4:30pm @ Plex Ice Irmo, SC

 Capital City Youth Hockey Association will work with each parent and team to make roster decisions as quickly as possible.

With some players trying out at different dates, it will require flexibility in holding deposits.

CCYH will do everything possible to communicate to parents about team rosters.

Tryout Requirements - 

• Players will take the ice at 4:30pm sharp. Please arrive at the Plex by 3:30pm to allow time to register and organize players.

• There will be a charge of $35.00 per player to tryout (payable by check or cash). Plus a $200 deposit in the form or a check or credit card number to hold a players position on a team.

• If a player is not selected for a team, the check or credit card information will be destroyed. The deposit for players selected for a team will go towards their fees.

• Players selected for a team but declines forfeits their deposit. The deposit collected at tryouts brings the organization in line with other Travel Hockey Organizations in the South East.

•  Up to date USA Hockey Registration is required to tryout.

• All players must tryout in their age group. Players who played up in the 2008 – 2009 season are grandfathered and will be able to tryout at that same level of play. Families with multiple players or players with economic issues not grandfathered may petition the Board by email (Capitolcityhockey@gmail.com) to be reviewed on case by case bases. Please put Petition in the subject line.

• Team Rosters will be posted on the organization website within 3 days after the tryout date.

• Once teams are selected a meeting will be scheduled to confirm rosters, complete required USA Hockey forms, and collect jersey information.
