USA Hockey, Inc., founded in 1936-37, is the National Governing Body for the sport of ice hockey in the United States.

Its mission is to promote the growth of hockey in America and provide the best possible experience for all

participants by encouraging, developing, advancing and administering the sport.

The Carolinas Hockey League is the only youth travel league recognized by CAHA (USA Hockey's affiliate in the Carolinas). The Southern Hockey Academy, LLC is extending its developmental program by offering 4 levels of instruction for both the Powerskating clinics and the Shooting, Passing and Puckhandling clinics.

Our goal is to help establish a solid foundation of skills for hockey players of all ages. The programs we offer are designed to teach proper techniques of skating, puck skills, and goaltending that are transferred into game situations.
